This, is what is next!

Happy Monday everyone! How was everyone's weekend? Hope some stitching was involved :). I had a great one, lots of activity and some stitching! Last night after finishing the Black Forest early on, the question was, as it always is... What is next? My friend Brandy gave me this luscious piece of linen on Saturday, and we both decided to stitch a design from CHS- Quaker House Samplers. We changed the colors to WDW thread (Charcoal, Pewter & Whiskey), just to give it a bit of variation. Here is my start!

(PS, a few of you have been asking about this linen, it is an old piece of Birds of the Feather Sparrow, in 28ct. My friend Brandy found it deep in the stash!)

  2. How did I miss your Black Forest finish?? It is INCREDIBLE!! I love it. I need to bump this up to 'must stitch soon' status. Wonderful job!

Your Quaker sampler is fabulous, too--great start so far! I love the linen you're using for it--what a lovely mottled cut!

  3. Wow is that going to be a beauty, or what? Love the fabric and your color choices! This is funny, I pulled this pattern from my stash the other day, and thought I would like to stitch it soon! Will love seeing your further progress, and from what I have seen of your stitching, Shannon, it won't be long until it is a finish!!

  11. You have a real knack for choosing just the right fabric. I like how you make it your own, so to speak, by changing it up. That's going to be unbelievable on that piece.
